Good News - site is now updated to Drake 0.3.9 rev 2470 with
current db and content from 0.3.7 1982 version
And you know the main reason for upgradeing was to ensure
the html tags weren't getting stripped! Oh and the admin menu
wouldn't disappear
If it's any help to you I logged my
progress. But didn't add the bugs along the way to Sourceforge
because it may have been my local configuaration and didn't have
extra time sorry. Files attached
No problem, really thank you for all your patience. You have
skipped one half of troubles to other Drake CMS users!
I have read the log, some bugs were fixed just-in-time so that
I could issue a re-release right after the flawed one (for
example, the template problem was present in a very early 0.3.8
update), while others (for example the problem with the double
colon in the saved SQL backup filename) are new to me and will be
fixed in the next update.
I am sorry for the buggy
0.3.8 release, however I was forced to release by some security
issues (vulnerabilities that were critical on hosts with
register_globals on); I hope to release sooner in the next weeks.
It would be great if you could preview the SVN version as a
tester!

to.Haven't done anything with SVN before but happy to look into
it but will have to wait a 2 or so weeks once an event for work
has finished.
Be happy also to do some updates of info
on the Drakecms and Drakeforge websites becuase as you know the
info is really old and it just seems you are doing sooo much. I'll
send you some contact details off forum.

Ok, about the websites: since I do
not have control on them (the webmaster is no more reachable!!!)
neither on the domains ( ) we are
going to migrate to Our new official website at SourceForge very
soon; an absurd situation, that luckly won't happen again
