Problem with swedish characters
01 March 2007 15:53
Anonymous I''m almost done with a swedish translation of drake cms.
But it seems that some specific characters (å, ä, ö) isn''t encoded correctly.
Not sure how to fix this. unsure
Maybe the "encoding" is wrong, i''m not sure.

Any help on this would be great.

EDIT: I''m also looking for a swedish flag icon , same as the other ones.

Anonymous That's because the files cannot be written to. You should enable write access to them; in future a more talkative error will be shown.

Anonymous Looks like this [CN7HEN7S] error was due to a file permissions mess...good to know it was not Drake's fault cool

I managed to fix the problem with creating a new language directly in admin cp of drake cms instead.
BTW, how is it going with the swedish flag?
Or do you know where i get get some new (nice looking) flags with the swedish flag included? wink

Anonymous I tried twice to use my scarce photo-editing skills to make a swedish flag with the traslucency effect of the other flags; of course I failed sad

We should contact the author of the other flags (those are taken from the Google translator module for other mambo based CMSes) and ask him or else make the flag ourselves dizzy
