Sending a bug report - in practic
26 June 2007 10:38
Anonymous Hi

How will I know when/if my bug posted on bug tracker will be fixed?
I've posted some yesterday, and I got 'closed' status, with no comments or replies. It means that no one will take care of my post or bug has been already fixed?

Cheers
DC

PS. I don't want to have bugs fixed in one day wink- I just want to know that someone will take care of it someday... wink

Anonymous Hi Cejrowski,

I usually fix and close the bug tracker items.

When the bug tracker item was set to "Closed" status, you should have noticed that the "Resolution" was changed from "None" to "Fixed".

Actually, the bugs you submitted were fixed on our public SVN repository and then the bug tracker items were closed.
You can check the SVN modifications at http://cia.vc/stats/project/drakecms (they witness the bug addressing)

I understand that new users might not know about our bug addressing process, I will add an explanatory comment for new users in future.

Anyway, thanks for submitting us your bug reports! We always take care of them and they are never closed before their actual fixing in the SVN repository.

Feel free to ask us more informations if you need.
