Problems adding content
08 December 2007 17:00
Anonymous Hi,
I've got several question on adding content:
1. Is there a general difference between 'news' and other content?
2. What's the 'title alias' for? Why does it has to be set?
3. When I want to add a new content item I get the error message "Invalid value for Introduction Text". Why? Of course, there has to be something in the introduction text field, but the content should be freely definable??

I have moved this thread to the Documentation so that stigi might give a look to it for possible integration.

No, it is you who choose the purpose of a content item.

Actually it should not be necessarily set. It is the short version of the title and is used when reporting summaries (list of content items) or by additional drabots (like drawiki) to ease content items referencing.

The fact is that you can have an introtext and a bodytext, but not only a bodytext because in such case the introtext will be the bodytext. So, if you are using the bodytext, a short summary should be written in the introtext too.
