Quote:Drake is great in
category of flat database apps. I find it after a full
day for resources and a 3 full days (toke my holiday ) of test. Unfortunately we are not greatly advertising it
because it is still Beta. When it will be Stable, we will put it
on the CMS comparation websites
Quote: Thanks
for all developers about their spended time and
labour.
And thanks also to the testers!
They are really the wheels of this project
Quote:Now seems Drake
definite for me and I just want to respond for their project and
support. I'm not a coder and I dont know anything
about the code development. I also dont have enough time anyway
 ) I
have no enough greens for a donation (hope will have ) As far as you will help with debugging,
stabilization and improvements with your suggestions and ideas,
you will already have contributed to Drake CMS and we will be
deeply grateful to you for that! Quote: But I've
started a Turkish translation already.
An user
once told me that the language resources need to be properly
parametrized because in Turkish the syntax might be very
different and so the order of the words. Please report us which
language resources need to be parametrized and we will.
Quote: And also I want
to suggest a host for test of Drake or anything else for project
inside my possibility of bandwidth.
Ok! Thank
you for your offer! You might begin testing it yourself and we
will eventually ask you to make it available for non-reproducible
Drake CMS errors (errors happening only on your host) that we
will fix.
Quote: Does the veloce script can set folder
permissions? I didnt need to use so I dont know at the moment.
Or is there possibility to solve folder permissions over
web?
If yes I'll suggest to make a dynamic test host
for Drake where people can perform a real host setup and test a
default view one with "admin permissions. Seperate host for
every people that wants.
Suggesting because peoples
still asking for instalation problems. Thats quite easy and can
be demonstrated in that way.
Regards
The problem is unfortunately not solvable through PHP because
affects PHP itself: on some hosts (a lot!) the PHP process cannot
set folders to writable and sometimes it cannot write anything at
all. When the PHP process cannot change folders permissions, you
always have to change them through FTP (or shell, if you
have). If the PHP cannot still write then the server
administrators have disabled this option in their PHP
configuration - either on purpose or accidentally - and you might
ask more about the problem to them.
BUT (rolling
drums) in future Drake CMS will support an embedded FTP access
which will ease the task |
