When I am trying to bulk
add pictures in a directory via the wizard (only way it seems to
upload pictures then link them to the gallery I wish it worked
just like the downloads section). No matter what I pick no
pictures show up. Picking an existing category just results in
a new category and no pictures, filling out to create a new
gallery is pretty much the same.

It does work for me, to add single photos just click the "Add"
button

It keeps working for me; what
happens when you issue a new category? Any message shown? Are
folders created into /images/gallery ? Please check that and also
say if you have safe mode enabled (check for the safe_mode
parameter in the System -> PHP info page)
Thanks

Single picture adds work just fine for me. It is only the wizard
method where you choose a directory of unlinked pictures to add
to a category that gives me problems. I submitted a bug to the
bug log (it came up with a page saying to do this and had some
kind of hash code) it was having trouble creating the thumbs
directory or something. I will have to do a clean local install
and see if I caused the problem somehow (or maybe something the
ISP is doing?)

That feature was not working properly, it has now been disabled
and the wizard import should work fine.
